ACCS will commence arbitration services and change its name on 1 September 2022

Commencing 1 September 2022, ACCS will offer an arbitration service to workers who are injured on or after this date. Arbitration will provide access to a simple, timely and cost effective alternative to court proceedings, if a dispute cannot be resolved in conciliation. Our name will also change on 1 September 2022 to the Workplace Injury Commission, to reflect the expansion of our dispute resolution services.

Conciliation Service Update

Our office also remains closed to the public at this time, and conciliation conferences are currently being undertaken via the choice of telephone or Zoom Video Conferencing. Face-to-face conciliation conferencing and now arbitration will recommence later in the year.
